It's the very short span wings that's puzzling. That's a Royal Navy
Meteor, so I'm thinking Sea Prince, but the wings are still too short
for that; more like the wings on the OV Bronco.

Those definitely are not OV-10's. Those have a twin boom twin vertical
stabilizer design the AC in the background have a single vertical
stabilizer. Also they have a fatter fuselage than the OV-10. I think
that first guess was correct, S2E Tracker.

That is a very likely candidate given that its service starting in the
mid-1950's would make it a Meteor contemporary.

Yeah, the Pembroke was the RAF version of the Sea Prince. The
shortness of the wings certainly, to me, rules out the Tracker, which,
because of its unusual wing-fold, couldn't be these. I know I'm getting
desparate now but could it be something with the outer wings removed
prior to scrapping?
Somebody must know!
