I found this article by Tijl Schmelzer very interesting, about the planning and execution of his recent 100km triangle African speed record that was just over 200 km/hr. Impressive!

Even more imprsive was in the recent South African Qualifying Grand Prix.
189.8km/h 475.9km . The top 7 all did over 185km/h.
