I have copied Concorde from FS 2000 to FS 2002 (following the
instructions giving in the www.simflight.com FAQ). Everything works
fine except the views from the cockpits to either side and to the back
(NumPad7/9/4/6/1/2/3). Is that normal?

You're supposed to be watching the road straight ahead.

You have obviously never been PIC in a real aircraft. Looking around
outside is one of the first lessons that your instructor will drill
home.

I have found the solution myself. FS 2002 cannot find the files
forward_right.bmp, right.bmp etc.

First solution: Copy these files from another aircraft's folder into
the Concorde folder. The 3D landscape view will be painted into the
black portions of the bitmap images.

Second solution: Delete the following lines from the
aircraft\concorde\panel.cfg file (do not forget to make a backup copy
of this file). Looking to the right, left, rear etc. you will see no
aircraft parts, only a full screen view of the landscape (like in FS
2000):
