This makes me very sad. Though we were never to meet in person, Jerry and I
corresponded on several occasions. When he was still doing the print version
of his newsletter, he gave me a gratis subscription. I didn't ask for it, he
wanted me to have it. That speaks to his kindness and generosity.

Rest eternal grant to Jerry, O Lord,
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
rest in peace.
