A few weeks ago I had an opportunity to take some snaps at Heathrow while waiting for a connecting flight. It was a chilly day (by British standards, anyway) and the airport had to resort to de-icing the aircraft.

Thanks for those pictures.
A fleeting visit to the old country, eh, I see that the weather didn't
do you any favours, although it could have been worse!

I'm pleased you liked the Heathrow pics.
At least it was not raining while we were there. In all the many times I
have landed in England, I think this was a first.
The weather was much more agreeable in Malaysia. It was almost worth the
drudgery of the long leg from London to Hong Kong, though premium economy in
a BA Airbus 380 did help to mitigate the discomfort and ennui.
I have a few more airport images taken during the trip. I'll post them in
due course.
