View Full Version : OLC posting

Has anyone found a way to use an iPhone to post igc files to OLC using an SD card. My research indicates that Apple does not allow uploading files to a browser other than music and videos on an iPhone. Understand it can work on iPad but am looking for iPhone solution.

As you cannot directly read an SD card on either an iPad or iPhone the only

solution I can think of is to use one of the Portable WI Fi hotspots that
has an
SD card slot, you could then copy the file to something like a DropBox
account and then move it from there or the hotspot may come with a file
manager app that you could use, the Apple camera connection kit will not
work as it can only copy picture files from your SD card.

Use fee GlideTrack app and it has function allowing you to email IGC fike to yourself.

....or you could get one of any number of cheap Android devices and
upload directly. You could even run XCSoar (free!) on it if you don't
already have a moving map. AND XCSoar generates its own OLC valid igc
file which can be a backup to your other igc file.
