Relaxing on the couch at the end of the day, my wife called me to the
window. Too bad it was too late to run to Moriarty. The clouds look to
be right over the airport. An airliner passing in the blue above had
its contrail cut by the wave so I know it extended well into the 30s...

And the spring winds are beginning. The wind is already about 12 kts
down the runway and forecast for about 45 deg right cross at 25 kts by
1600. It's my day to tow...

Looks great Dan, which range is producing those? The ridge between ABQ and Moriarty?

Yup. Sometimes the ridge to the east, near Clines Corners, kicks off a
wave.

Yesterday we had another wonderful sky with flat-bottom cumulus and
lennies above. The winds were already at the Pawnee's limit when I
arrived and we shut down shortly after that. No flying. Winds will be
light today so I'll make a few tows. Looking to getting my glider out
tomorrow or Saturday...
