Steve Dee
Soaring Safety Foundation

The topics include Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM), a review of
Flight Safety through accident trends, the Goal Oriented Approach,
and Recurrent & Transition training. The use of the PAVE model for
event analysis will be introduced, and other topics will be available
(see the SSF website for those topics, plus some of my own which
might be of interest, such as Self-Launching, the realm of High G
Flight, and others). Each briefing can be varied from 30-50 minutes
as needs arise.

Steve Dee has been flying gliders since 1966, and has been an active
CFI since 1973. His nearly 50 years in aviation include flying various
General Aviation aircraft, military fighters, trainers, and transports,
and civilian jet transports for three different carriers. As a long time
Instructor and Evaluator, he tries to bring a professional level of
discussion of Flight Safety to soaring pilots in all his presentations.
