Sunrise to sunset - about 9MB size

Later on I may add airports/TPs wit hairspace. But, for now just wanted to grab the sat imagery raw data before it disappears on Unidata and the IDV program.

More charts, and data coming later...

Thanks for posting! do you have any skew t's for the day? io'm trying to get better at predicting wave, and i'm interested in having a look.

Thanks!

Here is a Dropbox shared link for viewing a folder with many more charts and files... including the Reno Radiosonde at 12Z and 00Z

Later I may add a TP airport soaring data base with labels an "zoom in" on more interesting locations like the Reno area.

I am just getting back into gliding after a long absence, anyone recommend a great book or learning source for getting and analyzing weather data

Jonathan,

MASA has a seminar at this Youtube link:

There is a fair amount of discussion regarding weather forecasts and particular web sites that offer aviation weather. Its one of the better seminars I've seen and I'd recommend it to anyone either getting back into soaring or merely looking to brush up on their flight planning. It focuses on wave flying but is excellent for any cross country flights. Thanks again to MASA for posting this.
