View Full Version : ATI Radeon 9700,9800 stuttering in MSFS9

ATI has announced a resolution of the problem,after several months. They
will let you in on the secret if you register a request for an explanetory
email. I am still waiting !

Their 3.7 drivers did help with my 'shimmy' from diagonal lines
considerably, somewhat with other glitter/shimmer on other sceneries, but
still have to keep the MIP mapping at 4-5 max. due to the effect on things
like trees especially, and morie' effect on large buildings from a
distance.. Hopfully they'll raise to the occassion and keep up the
improvements!! Using a non-pro 9800 128MB BTW....

That's weird. Why wouldn't they just post the solution on their website. I
think the solution is a driver update either for the 3.7 drivers or it's
contained in the 3.8 catalyst drivers due for release on Oct. 8.
