View Full Version : K6 team Bluetooth with Cambridge 302
Has anyone tried the k6 team Bluetooth adapter on a Cambridge 302, with an android device? I'm currently running xc soar on a pocket pic with a serial connection. It works great but one of these days the ol' pocket pic is going to die and I'd like to switch to something else before it does. A bigger screen would be nice also. I'm curious what experience others have had with the Bluetooth, Cambridge 302, and an android device.

I got it working with a Samsung Note 4 which has a large bright screen, and XCSoar, with my C302. Works well, though it seems to work 100% fully in the declare/communicate and less well in the flight mode, but his might be a configuration issue.

I have been using the K6BT with a 302 and an Dell Streak 5 (android) for several years now and it works great. It send GPS, baro, airspeed etc. and you can download the Cambridge IGC files into the Streak.

I used to run a Dell Streak 5 with Android 2.3.7 via K6BT to a CAI 302.
Very slick and easy. I recently traded in the 302 for a ClearNav Vario
and it performs exactly the same with my Streak except for downloading
flight logs which is now done with a USB stick.
