My father had the pedals and cable replaced in his after some in flight excitement. After delivery the replacement pedals construction was shockingly amateurish and didn't match the dimensions of the original pedals. Rather that argue further and incur more delays and cost the improved "S" tube and bell flare was removed and transferred to the old pedals professionally by a shop. and thus a working non-chafing assembly was made with official parts. I can have him contact you if you would like more info. he does not frequent R.A.S.
