Avier Naviter2 USB to serial comm drivers that work with Windows 8+

Does anyone have a solution for the lack of support in Windows 8 and beyond
for USB to serial comm port drivers? The prolific driver and all work
arounds that I've been able to search do not resolve the problem. Any
direction or help would be appreciated.

http://www.tripplite.com/high-speed-usb-to-serial-adapter-keyspan~USA19HS/ ; on their download page they show a driver for 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. I have a tripplite and it is very reliable. I don't use it with an Avier, though.
