View Full Version : Simulators for Acrobatics?

I would like to find a simulator that will do acrobatics in a more or less
realistic manner. When i was flying the real ones the most fun that I had
was doing acrobatics. I have bought every version of MS Flight Sim and
have taken them off the machine after a few tries, because they don't, IMO,
fly like a real plane especially in any stall maneuvers. Flight Unlimited
1 did a pretty good job, but I wonąt run on my present machine Windows XP.

Perhaps someone out there knows of other simulators that do better with
acrobatics.

Thanks in advance,

The prop-driven aircraft the most accurately stall-modelled planes IMO are
in IL2:FB (you don't have to fly combat missions). For jets Lomac/Lock-On
has great modelling under many circumstances but certainly not in stall
conditions sadly.

Let's just try that sentence again shall we? :-) The most accurately
stall-modelled prop-driven aircraft...

You can try Redline: Xtreme Air Racing 2. It seems to model prop planes
pretty well. Then again, I have the original version and not the new one.
It's also pretty fun racing if you don't want to just do aerobics.

Thanks for reminding me about that. It's been on my list of sims to "get
around to" buying for a while.
