View Full Version : FS 2004 Professional?

Hi,

Can someone tell me if there is a professional edition of FS 2004? I
couldn't even find it on Microsoft's web site but I find it for sale at
buycheapsoftware.com. The version they are selling has a different part
number than the one I see at CompUSA, which is not a professional edition.
If there is a professional edition, does anyone know what the differences
are between it and the standard version?

Thanks,
Dave

As far as I know, there is only one version of FS-9, FS-2004, COF,
whichever name you want to use. The aircraft that were in the FS2002
Professional edition and not the FS2002 standard edition are present in
FS-9.

There is only one version of FS9. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either
lying or misinformed.

No there was only one version of FS2004. However, FS2004 did come in a
standard package and a special version in a tin box.

My FS9 came in the metal box but I saw nothing "special" about it.

I thought is was kind of cool. And I got all the aircraft and more for the
former price of a standard version of FS. Thanks MS, and I mean that.

The tin box was what was special <G>. They offered a regular box or the
tin box which is fancier as a commerative thing.
