Is it still being supported and enhanced?

no. One of the core team members died shortly after the distributor pulled
the plug on the team shutting off the finances.
They're gone.

Jeroen and Bob,

Jeroen, you are correct in that Richard Harvey passed away in early 2003 and
that development pretty much came to a screeching halt then as far as
Terminal Reality was concerned. However, there is a very active community
which has continued development and add-on's to FLY and FLYII which can be
found here:

General Discussions:
http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=127
FLY for Macs: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=128
FLY Developer's Forum:
http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=129

And, there are tons of FLY add-on's that are uploaded to the AVSIM library
almost daily:

http://library.avsim.net/

Set category to FLY or FLY II and browser to your heart's content.

I hope somebody continues development of the product because it is by far
the best sim for pilots.

I agree. It is extremely smooth and with great clouds.

I have not flown it since I got my new PC but would sure like to see a new
release some time down the road. If I win the lottery maybe I will finance
it :-)

I know there's still addons being made. I was talking about the development
of the product itself.
