Hi All,

While taxiing and undertaking a take-off roll FS2004 grinds to an almost
complete halt with frame rates of 1 or less making things completely
impossible to control. Literally as soon as the wheels leave the tarmac all
returns to normal. The same happens as soon as the wheels hit the ground on
landing. Makes no difference which plane or airport the problem is
consistent.

Any help would be greatful.

Try to turn off the ground bumps on the force feedback option.

I had the same problem and this fixed it.
