November 18th 04, 04:33 AM
Anybody have any luck landing a Gee-Bee?. Seven passes of the
goddamned runway before i finally got it down. Then nosed over trying
to pull it up.

I now have total respect for the guys who flew these little monsters
back in the 30's.

Well in the real world you learn to land well, bvy landing the hardest
planes that you can get hold of. Same is true on the simulators, if you
want Easy fly the cessnas with training wheels, if you want to learn fly
the difficult to land planes.
