January 11th 05, 03:51 PM
I have some progs which will only work with Win98se and others which
only work with XPpro. Since I use both OS is there a preference, when
using Flight simulator 2004, to achieve best performance?

Thanks,

David

Win XP for most things esp FS2004. Also remember that WinXP has a back
compatability system which can be utilised for old programs anyway.

and a much better NG for FS2004 users is

alt.games.microsoft.flight-sim

You will often get an immediate answer to a problem from some very
knowleable pilots. As well as a lot of laughs.
