Does anyone know the dates for this event? I know that it is Moriarity but I can't find any more info about it. I've tried the 1-26 association's site but I can't find anything about the specific dates.
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan, glad to hear your interested. I dont have the exact dates in front of me, but the practice days are the last few days of june, with the contest happening the first week of july. I am also planning on going depending on my work schedule (crop duster). I hope to see you there.

OK...On page 53 of the Feb issue of Soaring you will find the info...
Practice - June 28-29
Contest - June 30 - July 7, 2016
Awards breakfast on Friday, July 8th
Come to NM and enjoy some excellent soaring!
Thx - Renny
PS: Over the years 3 pilots in 1-26s completed all 3 of their diamonds out of Moriarty. Many other silver, gold and diamond badge legs have been completed in 1-26s out of Moriarty, so come out, give it a try, and have some fun!

Moriarty is an awesome place to fly a 1-26 championship. The air is probably the friendliest "Western" style that a 1-26 can consistently and safely handle. Highly recommend it, anyone who would go would have a blast.
And the 1-26ers are just an awesome bunch of guys. If you measure a contest by the cumulative amount of fun on the part of all the contestants, I believe that it is hard to beat a 1-26 Championship.
Best Regards,
Daniel

Perfect, that is exactly what I was looking for. I am not competing, I am still a post solo student, but I've heard great things about last years and friend lives in ABQ so it seems like a good thing to catch.
Thanks Renny.
