There are two in Northern California, one purchased new a year or so ago, and
the other imported used. I can put you in contact with the owners, if you
like...

Are these the 'banana' tips (for lack of a better description), or normally
shaped winglets? The only 'banana' tips I've ever seen were on Martyn Wells
LS-6c in the UK and I was once told they'd never be TC'd for the US.

Frank,

The "banana" tips are for 15m, and yes, I have them on my '6.
(Prefer "flying nun tips"). I brought my ship into the US, new, in
'94.

But, they are not the 18 tips I refer to. The 18m tips are, of
course, longer and have a gentle upturned tip. They are exactly
similar to the 18m tips on the LS-8's.

Don't know now, for sure these were 18m tips. Aland knew about them, but
said they wouldn't be in the US. Nothing like the LS-8 tips. Have to dig
through my archives. Possibly I have a picture or video from the '94 UK
Opens.

Thanks,

Frank

Very 'usual' reply.

Thanks,
John
