Puchacz canopy mechanism

We are experiencing serious difficulties adjusting the canopy locking
mechanism on our fairly new Puchacz.

The BGA fix has been adopted - a spring attached to the locking lever
but we are finding that adjustments to the cam appear to ease off as
temperatures rise.

Does another fix exist?

Check if the locking ring under the attachment bolt (wide head) is fitted
correctly. If not, this causes the bolt to travel and the lever to have
play.
