Was wondering if any western pilot (or pilot with western data base) had a data base with the cupx photo files of the airports, off flied landing sites etc., for LX90XX and would be willing to share. The data base with photos , I am looking for would cover all or some of the data for California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, southern Oregon, and Idaho. My main flying area is California, Nevada and Utah.

Thanks,
Jon

I'm also wondering how to collect all the images.
Yet to find the way in SeeYou8.x.
Any suggestions, other than clicking on each of the waypoints?

If you already have, or can make, a .cup waypoint file of the locations then sjhaley's excellent CreateCupX program will automatically create a .cupx file from it by adding photos from Google Earth. It is available through the LX Nav site News section.

Just did exactly this last weekend, worked fine. The program stops after the first 1000 downloads of pictures, but everything is kept in the cache so you can just re-start creating the respective .cupx file once the date has rolled over.

If you get an API Key it will go past the 1000 pictures

I get the pictures from Google earth the waypoint list detail will give you the lat long for N43.211,W111.511 enter 43.211,-111.511 in google earth.
zoom in and then print screen, I then use firework to paste the picture and save as a name.jpeg. Save all in one folder.

In SeeYou go to waypoint list double click the waypoint click + select picture file then OK. After selecting all pictures go File Save As and name the file, it will be a cupx file.

In SeeYou mobile files select the cupx file. When you look at the detail of the airport and chevron over you will see your picture.

Sort of a long process to get usable pictures of the airports.

So no western pilot has any of these files to share?
