Hi All
African problem. The wing carts have been stolen from the trailer for
their scrap metal value...

I have a Slingsby T59D series 1.

Does anyone have any idea where I might get drawings, or obtain a second
hand pair, before I start trying to reverse engineer and bodge something
together.

Thanks
Bruce

I don't have drawings, but my wing root dollies are intact and in use with my trailer (original Slingsby). I can send you photos and measurements, if you like.

Hi Bruce,

There is one for sale here in Oz, the owner is a nice bloke and am sure he will be able to help.

Time for a solar panel on the trailer roof, storage battery, and a 12 volt fence charger, one with a couple of joules should do . . . it keeps the bears away from my Husky and should work well for an aluminum trailer. For a glass trailer, you'd have to make some connections inside to metal handles etc. Also need a ground rod. Oh - and a way to turn it off remotely :c)
