The video presented by the french channel Aerostar.tv is worth 32 minutes of your attention... recommended if you can understand the French comment and interviews.
It is about the Women's Nationals (club class), and general 18M + Open Class Nationals at La Roche sur Yon.
A very comprehensive story, describing how a gliding competition works, is held, organised, and with lots of poetic and dramatic comments about sporting ambition and the beauty of flight.
Great photography, especially on the ground, with focus on aerodinamic details and the life of the pilots. Very professionally made with good editing.
I'd only like the comment to be more "lively", but it's undeniably realistic about the qualities and the situation of our sport (passion, decision-making, racing only for the sake of it, no hero or big money prize... without losing sight of the more seductive parts).
