Does anybody know where to fly in Jefferson City area? There are so
many beautiful hills but they are fenced. Has anybody cut a deal with
a farmer to use a field? Anybody interested in flying together?

Try www.ssa.org, but maybe you are looking for a hang glider
newsgroup, instead of this sailplane group?

I used to live in Columbia. I flew my Nimbus 2M off of Jefferson City
airport. There are a few private strips around that might be used.
Fulton Airport is also a good potential place to fly. nice grass
runway when they keep it mowed.
For tows I had to drive to Kansas City. The soaring was O.K. around
Columbia/Jefferson City, but doesn't compare to Logan.
