5% SSA Group Insurance Discount

I recently learned that the SSA Group Hull and Liability Insurance
Program through Costello now offers a 5% premium discount for any
insured SSA member who is also a member of AOPA.

A nice way to save a few bucks, or (maybe) pay for the cost of
membership in either of the organizations.

Pat Costello tells me that new applicants are asked about AOPA
status, and renewing owners are notified of this program.

Be advised that this 5% discount is not really offered by Costello. It is
offered by AIG, the insurance underwriter. They offer it to anyone who buys
a policy underwritten by AIG, regardless of which agent sells the policy.
Costello is just passing the discount along.
