ILEC Vario

Does anyone know if you can drive an ILEC electronic vario with a Clear Nav digital vario? The reason I am wondering is I am debating buying a Clear Nav vario but I prefer the dial over the tape display. If I can drive the ILEC then I will opt for the square Clear Nav with the tape display and use both.

No, the communication between the CNv ADC (the box with the sensors, etc) and the display is proprietary.

If you want to chat about which display to get (I recommend the rectangular LCD only display if you are only getting one), let's do that by email or on the CN forum.
