I have some mini-DV footage of a 2-33 doing a perfect
180 ground loop that I would like to transfer to MPG.
Then we can put it up on our website.

Does anyone have the equipment to do this (from mini DV,
Hi-8, SVHS, or VHS)? I'd happily send you the tape :-)

I can do this. Easiest from Hi-8 or Digital-8, but I could find a mini
DV camera somewhere to play a tape (hell, wander into a camera store
with a laptop...).

But surely you know someone with a Macintosh computer made sometime in
the last three or four years? (and therefore with a FireWire port, and
able to run iMovie) In fact I'm sure your nearest Apple store would be
happy to help.
