Everyone,

Just a reminder that this Saturday November 15th, at St. John's UCC in
Lansdale, PA, a very important meeting will be held to lay the groundwork for a
Regional Club and Commercial Operators Organization. The meeting will start
promptly at 10am and last until 5pm or so. We plan to recap the spring Club
Seminar session, and then have a strategic planning session.

SSA Regional Directors, SSA State Governors and a representative from PASCO on
the West coast will be in attendance to guide us and help with a smooth
startup. Anyone and everyone, club member or commercial operator, from the
northeast or not, is invited. Even if you didn't already RSVP, and you would
like to attend, please come, because this will be a very important meeting, and
your input is needed.
================================================== ==
Agenda is as flollows:

The purpose of this meeting is to form a northeast regional club and commercial
operators association. Generally speaking, member clubs and commercial
operators will join together to promote soaring thru education in safety,
cross-country, meteorology and other activities. In addition, member clubs and
commercial operators can share helpful tips and information relating to
operations, for the betterment of all involved. Ultimately, this association
will help grow soaring for the northeast region and the SSA.

Club Seminar Follow-up
Follow-up discussion from the spring Club Seminar at Ridge Soaring.

Define purpose and goals of the regional organization, including:
Who we are.
What is our purpose in forming this organization?
When do we want to begin?
Where do we want to be in six months, one year, five years?
Why do we need this type of organization?
How do we accomplish this?

Karol Hines, representing Pacific Soaring Council (PASCO), will talk about
their organization from its origination up to today. She will talk about how
PASCO helps member clubs and commercial operators in the region.
