Agent Orange was used in the Vietnam war and the results gave the impression of
the far side of the moon...forests without leaves for mile and miles.
It was grim! I flew over forests of denuded trees every day in Ben Hoa.

I'm amazed the descendants of the Vietcong didn't evolve into a race of
mutants...

Considering what the US did to their country
it is a wonder the Vietnamese aren't the anti-
America people on the planet.

As vietnam becomes more 'capitalist' and less 'socialist', they're not going to
complain too much. They're desperate to crack the American market for their
manufactured products.
With the latest generation, admiration for Ho Chi Minh and General Giap have
been replaced for a desire to wear Levi jeans and use Apple products.
....heh...the Vietnamese kids these days!...they're just like us.

As if the British, French and Dutch had nothing to do with the 19th and 20th century turmoil in south east
Asia and China......

And probably give as much of a rat's ass about their forebears as we do...
