I am looking at cockpit sizes and I have been told the jantar 2a or b is
the same cockpit as a standard jantar.
The only jantars here are the 1st ones not the standard 2 or 3 ,
The question: are the original jantars the same cockpit as the 2 or 3

Not sure if they are identical, but, to the best of
my recollection (I have flown them all at one time
or another), all are equally spacious.

The standard 2 (SZD-48-2?) and even more standard 3 SZD-48-3 are bigger =
than the "Jantar Standard" (SZD-41a). From all the Jantars, the Jantar =
2b (20.5 open class) and Standard 3 are the most roomy. The Jantar 1 =
(19m open class) uses exactly the same fuselage as the "41a".
There's also SZD-59 Acro which cockpit is exactly the same as the Jantar =
Standard 3's one.
