Insurance?

Newbie here,
I just committed to the purchase of my first glider,
and now have a question that I probably should have asked
last week.
What paper-chase must be completed when buying a glider,
and how do you get insurance coverage (particularly liability)?

all an aviation insurance company.. if in the US.. look in the SSA
magazine.. but most deal with Costello.. but there are others too..
