There used to be. There are plenty of agplanes, lots of lift, a zillion
duster strips, friendly people and the most important elements: great beer
and tacos.
So, does anyone know anyone to contact about it? They are real sticklers for
gringos filing flight plans.

John, AFAIK SSA has list of
Int'l gliding/soaring sites.
I contacted them last year about soaring Argentina.
They had contacts with addresses & phone #s.
HTH! BTW let me know if U find someplace.
It'd build good Int'l relations to develop some
club reciprocity, new soaringxperiences,
& new friends :)
