Hello finnish glider pilots! I am pilot in Germany and would like to visit
Finnland this summer. Of course I would be happy to find a nice glider side
to add some entries in my logbook. The area prefered is around Yväskylä.
Any information is very helpful. Thank you, kiitos!

Hello Eggert

Jyväskylä area has one soaring club with (Finnish-only website
http://ksi.fi/, which is under renovation - but available).

They have a LS-4, Club Astir II, ASK-21 - and for real men, K-8b ;)

Probably the best way to contact them is by email:

- (of course dropping the first word and dot
from the address.)

The largest soaring site in Finland is in Räyskälä, but it is quite far away
from Jyväskylä. Of course, what you mean around depends ;)

Best regards,

hannu

Hei Eggert
About 150 km northwest of Jyväskylä there is a glidingcenter with 3
clubs and visiting pilots from Sweden. For acccomodetion my club (VLK)
can offer a "hotel"room (or just a bed) for a resonable price. You can
find our website (in finnish) at www.qnet.fi/vlk.
On this site you can find information about the airfield (EFME)
http://pik.tky.hut.fi/aip/efme.html
If you have enything to ask, just drop me a mail at:
