Having seen a couple of posts regarding 'tug aerobatics'
while on tow, and 'spinning tug and glider while on
tow,' this comes as a rather tragic and timley reminder..........

How many of us fly with our hand on the bung all through
the tow?

Are you alert enough to pull off before the tug waves
you off?

Certainly not me. "Near" the bung, yes. "On" the bung, no.

Me too.

'Near' the bung, yes. 'On' the bung, no.

I am sure that your post is in good faith and with
good intentions but we have no details of this tragic
accident. To mention in the same post aerobatics on
tow etc. is a not very tactful (unless you know something
we don't know).

Andy
