Liberty Engine(valve)

Hi All:
I have a bunch of valves which we are cleaning up, and, knowing where they
came from, I am pretty sure they are for the Liberty Engine.
If possible, can some one confirm?
Here are the dimensions:
valve stem dia: .435 head dia: 2.736 overall length: 6.230
The tip of the stem has 3 grooves for the retainer.
I can't find technical data anywhere. The sure make beautiful paper weights,
but if they are Liberty, and someone needs they, get in touch before we
sell them at a flea market. Some are Ford script.

Have you tried contacting the guys at Old Rhinebeck (oldrhinebeck.org)? WW 1
is their specialty and they may have a few engine gurus that can help. If not,
you might also try the Naval Aviation Museum in Pennsacola. I know that they
have several Liberty V-12's in their collection, as well as the original
Curtiss NC-4 (on loan from the Smithsonian) which I believe was powered by
Liberties. Sorry I can't be of more help, but my area of expertise only
extends to early Wright aircraft.

Or have you tried contacting Rodger Freeman's museum in Texas?
