Did some soaring in Moriarty, NM (0E0) today to get prepared for my
check ride. We did the boxing the wake (flying a vertical rectangle
pattern behind the towplane), steep turns, stalls, slips. I did quite
ok, so I hope to get my checkride soon.
But it was really fun to ride the thermals of 8kn or more. So even I
found some ;)

I enjoy doing both.

Summer is over next week with the end of daylight saving.

Lucky we have days in winter that are very good.

Even better the wave flying season and ski season is approaching :)
