I would like to find the female end for the standard speaker mic plug on
most hand held radios. We want to make an extension to reach the back seat
of our Blanik, but we need the female end.

These are 3.5mm mono jack sockets. Made by Schurter and available in UK
from R.S. Components (http://rswwww.com) Part No. 454-249 and Farnell
Electronics (www.farnell.com) Part No. 152-202.

You don't say where you are, so I assume you in US, Farnell in US is at
+1 800 718 1997.

They may also be available from retail outlets.

Best regards,

Tim.
