So what were the results at Minden? The contest page at SSA is missing most of
the days.

SSA......The players have changed, but the game remains the same, it would
seem.

The complete set of results for the Region 11 FAI contest are, in fact,
posted at the SSA web site.

The problem with the Minden scores (and likely most that don't show up
on the SSA website in a timely fashion), is that the scoring took place
in a hangar that did not have a phone or other means of sending email.
The earlier score sheets showed up because the scorer passed the data on
to contestants who had email access at their home/motel. Once everyone
went home, it likely took a few days for Rick or someone else to get
around to emailing the final scores. Maybe there was a few days delay
after the scores got to the SSA, but the final scores were up less than
a week after the contest ended...

They showed up within hours of my post. The problem, Marc, is that we are all
spoiled by the speed of getting data. Remember when scores showed up in
Soaring three to six months after the contest, or like Avenal, about a year
later at the next contest.

We should all bow down to the work put in developing the scoring program and by
the work that the CD or his assistants perform in getting the info out quickly.
It is fun to follow contests when you can't go.

As for Ionia, the non-existant global warming is still in effect.
