Considering that 255 kph is only 15 kph less than the red-line speed of the glider, that's not too bad . . .. Well done!

Interesting flight, must have been associated with the wave, those southern type Alps could have contributed.

Yes, the wave was working quite well that day as you can hopefully see from these pics. First one taken at an altitude (5,286m) around the same level Keith was flying his task and at about the same time. Second from the ground after we landed. Max altitude was ~22,300 ft, still in strong lift.

Yes, I saw the trace on OLC, still even in the wave that is an impressive flight!
