These days I'm using eternal-september.org as fallback to albasani.net.
This was the result of eternal-september being offline for a long time
earlier this winter.

Neither was up during daytime on Saturday, though that could have been a
glitch at albasani since it was answering pings but not accepting NNTP
connections.
