For a first flight, manned no less, of a steam-powered vehicle - he
did quite well. Only apparent glitch I saw was the tardy (also
steam-powered?) deployment of the second chute - plus any others,
seeing as he hit the ground a little fast..

Maybe next time he'll bail out and pull a ripcord, like the early cosmonauts
did...
