It's too bad there is no one writing about the Uvalde contest..Nothing on the SSA site or the RAS, or I'm I missing it?

I really appreciated the wonderful reporting out of the Standard class nationals!

Try Sean's page - The guy everybody loves to hate ;)

Don't have / want Facebook? The page is open, so you don't need an account but will have to deal with a nag across the page.

All the best

yeah... shades of Sailplane Racing News. That was a neat thing you did Henry....

The advantage to the SSA website is that everything associated with the contest gets archived in one place. Reports on FB not so much.

The Facebook pages that were linked from the WGC report stubs did not display the nagging banners (to non-FB people like me). Thankfully. So that can be done. Anybody know how that was achieved?

Thank you both, glad you enjoyed the slightly wacky reports. I’ll do it from New Castle in Sept. My favorite place.
Unless S Florida is under Hurricane threats like last year, 3rd time I had to cancel.

Uvalde....anyone know what kind of weather killed the 3 days?

5M/Open Class Nats., Uvalde, Tx.

Mark Keene sub. CD for John Lubon who had a family issue, but will return. Yesterday’s thinking was that the day would really be slow by 5:30, but the day surprised them and changing the 15M to 2.5.hrs. a bit of an undercall.

Today’s wx. is good. Good clouds and heights. Chance of sea breeze and a small chance of rain late in the SE., near Cotulla. Winds from SE 11-15 knots, does not necessarily mean streeting, but usually does in Uvalde area. 15M- 341 miles Opens.- 366 miles. 5000 foot gate. Hesse steering turn and a 50 foot finish line.

Tomorrow will be even better!

The most current SSA FB pages(where I posted this brief report with both task sheets) scroll on the Home Page of the SSA site.

Is there some reason why the links for reports can not be put in the Results and Reports page so scores and reports are available in one place?
