I've recently purchased a used Cobra wing rigger. Though it doesn't seem to fit my Jantar Std 2 wings -- it's certainly made for wider wings. I'd like to offer it for sale and would like to identify its size and which wings it is designed for. All I know is the rigger cuff will go from 30 3/4 inches to 39 inches chord (780mm to 990mm). Please advise.

Thank you,
-Valentin

I've seen the glider type labeled on the wing cuff of Cobra riggers. The one I use with the 29 came with a 27, but was labeled ASH25 (molded into the lower surface of the main composite part).
We modified the leading edge of that one to work with thinner wings.
If the leading edge is the tricky bit, perhaps you can do the same to make it fit the Jantar?

I don't remember any identification labels on the rigger, I'll double check that. The issue is not the leading edge shape. The rigger is so wide I can't clamp the wing safely enough. And when I rotate wing it doesn't stay rotated under its own weight, meaning the pivot point should be closer to the leading edge. And also I used another Cobra rigger which was a bit smaller than this and fitted wing better.

You can cut the sliding arm that secures the trailing edge so that it fits a smaller cord wing. When rotated, the wing rests on an adjustable stop that is set to the proper angle for insertion into the fuselage.
Hope this helps,
JJ
