View Full Version : .CMR file ?
What is a .CMR file and what is advantage of using a .CMR file in a LXNAV 9000? See Adam Woolley's post on his Facebook page Adam Woolley's Gliding Adventures. You'll have to scroll down a couple of his posts.

They are files of maps. I have not found any of these Raster maps for US airspace. I did download the high def maps from the LXNav web site and those were a big improvement. Details in your manual.

I was referring to the commercial maps of the types offered for Europe and listed in the LXNav manual. But thanks Lynn's site is of great service.
You can build your own cmr map for LX9000 starting from a jpg and processing it with seeyou (calibrating two edges of the rectangle). I use to do it from time to time in order to display meteo maps on LX9000 screen.

The .CMR files on my website are up-to=date hi-def US sectional charts.
