Burt Compton - Marfa Gliders, west Texas

When Bob Ball (R.I.P) brought his his nice (never a club ship) Schweizer 1-36 to fly wave at Marfa, TX and sold it to me in 2004, he kept the home-built trailer as it was apparently a "universal" box trailer for his other sailplane.
As I contemplate selling it I'm seeking an open or closed trailer that is fitted for a 1-36.
A 1-26 trailer is close (I have one) but not transport ready without some fabrication and perhaps some lengthening.
So the genuine article is my first option.
No hurry . . . it's low-time and a fun little sailplane, last of the classic Schweizer designs.
Also selling my Standard Cirrus with a nice Eberle trailer. Low time, Always hangared at Marfa.
