Have you tried the SSA's member locator? Try Michael instead of Mike. One does show up in TX.

Yes thanks, I had contacted the SSA and they gave me names and numbers for five Michael Anderson‘s in Texas. I also contacted the FAA and they traced the Aircraft N number back to one of the contacts that the SSA provided. Unfortunately the phone number has been disconnected and no longer in service.

SSA says he is a member of Caprock Soaring. Contact them. Give them your contact info and ask them to pass it along to him. If that is not him, there are two Michael Andersons in Texas that have a glider rating.
