View Full Version : Sage vario repair - Williams Soaring Unable

November 23rd 18, 09:32 PM
My club is trying to get a Sage vario repaired. We sent it to Williams Soaring last winter but they do not have a tech right now so it is just sitting there. They have not been able to give an answer of when they might be able to start fixing it. Any other places in the world that do repairs?

Our club has one that needs repair also. Rex said to send it to them at
Williams a year ago, and that he hoped to have a tech trained to fix it in

a month or two. We held off sending the instrument based on a "hope".
I send him an occasional email to ask about any progress, but get no
answer at all.

The former owner of the Sage line had some "new old stock" varios
which he was selling on W&W. I asked him if he could do any repairs,
but he replied that he had sold the business and all of his tooling to
Williams Soaring, so he is unable to help. He must have sold his varios,
because I don't see his advertisement on W&W anymore.

I guess we are out of luck until Williams Soaring gets a new tech
trained.

Give these guys a shout: http://www.keystoneinstruments.com/contact.htm

They're at Lock Haven Airport and have been fixing stuff since the beginning of time.
