The ChicagoLand Glider Council (CLGC) is hosting their 9th Mid-America Soaring and Safety Seminar on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 from 8AM to 5PM in the impressive Seigle Auditorium in the Business Conference Center of the Elgin Community College located northwest of Chicago. The Seminar will be host to nationally known speakers covering topics of safety, competition, gear and gliders.

Of special interest at this year's Seminar will be several talks about the acclaimed Perlan Project by the Chief Test Pilot Jim Payne, the Chief Logistics and Ground Operations director Jackie Payne and the Medical Doctor and Photographer Dr Dan Johnson. This should be amazing. Additional speakers for the day are pending.

A continental breakfast, a full buffet lunch and afternoon refreshments are provided as part of the registration fee. In an effort to keep costs down, the fees reasonable, and to help as many pilots as possible to attend, the seminar is partially underwritten by the dues paid by the CLGC members (Chicago Glider Club, Sky Soaring Glider Club, The Windy City Soaring Association and others individuals). New for 2019 - A youth registration fee discount of $15! An optional "Dutch Treat" dinner is planned (limited seating).

Again, this year, the CLGC is hosting a "Flying Flea Market" so bring your aviation related items to sell.

Please plan on joining us.
